Over the years, I have learned quality is better than quantity. I was lucky enough to learn this valuable lesson late in high school. However, I didn’t truly listen to my gut until the first few years of post-secondary school. It wasn’t until I moved across the country that I truly realized what I needed. Your twenties are your selfish years.
Learning to love yourself should be done in your twenties. You need to use this time to grow, focus on your mental health, and practice self-care. It’s easy to get stressed out during these important years by trying to figure out who you are and what you want. Often, people find themselves comparing where they are in life to others. I don’t know about you, but I get bloated so easily. It gets so bad that my pants won’t do up, and if I bend over my stomach hurts like crazy! It’s very uncomfortable. When you’re bloated it feels like your stomach is filled with air and if you put a pin to it you’ll finally feel at ease because your stomach will *deflate*.
